We can fight, we can even wage war, but we don’t have to be rude, abandon ethics, or harbor hostility toward one another. Given the assumption that a person eventually becomes what they struggle against, it’s perfectly natural to expect the same behaviors listed above—not from our enemy, but from our rival. We could call this “making love while fighting.”

Some of the fight scenes in the selection below contain bonds deeper than friendship, while others are as hostile as certain friendships.

Or, in many other scenes from *Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky*, one can encounter far more gore than what is shown below.
