Giantsexploitation films are movies in which people are exploited by beings much larger than themselves. In these films, the giant facing the human may be an animal, a mutant, a giant human, a robot, an alien, or something similar. In some films, the giants were already giants before any interaction with humans, while in others, they may have started out at normal size and either grew to giant size as a result of human misdeeds or transformed into giants through a series of mutations. In a few exceptional films, humans may shrink, causing normally sized creatures to become giants. Regardless of how they came to be, giants in movies have always confronted humans in pursuit of revenge.
