Jewsploitation films are movies in which Jewish characters take revenge on stereotypical villains. Jewishploitation, which emerged as a subgenre in the 2000s, shares similar themes with other action-oriented exploitation genres, particularly Blaxploitation. It traditionally casts Jewish actors in Aryan roles. The genre emerged in 2003 with *Hebrew Hammer*, a parody of Blaxploitation films.
