THEME
Summary
The cold screech of metal and the plaintive hum of a computer echo through the Nostromo’s narrow corridors. An alien signal from the depths of space is forcing this ore-laden commercial spaceship to change course. Every step taken toward the unknown further heightens the crew’s unease.
Ridley Scott masterfully blends science fiction and horror into an atmosphere of perfect unease. Confined spaces, the passage of time that feels like it’s dragging, and the biological horror lurking in the shadows make the burden on the characters’ shoulders a little heavier with every passing minute.
