Summary
A sleepless man, melting away amid the crushing monotony of white-collar life, finds himself trapped between the sterile walls of the office and piles of rubble. Directed by David Fincher, the film brings the psychological breakdown of the modern urbanite to the big screen with a dark blend of drama and suspense. Together with a charismatic soap salesman who enters his life, the character leaves his mundane troubles behind. Fistfights that begin in the basements quickly escalate into a mass rage spreading underground and a destructive nihilist movement. This secret society, which pushes the limits of the human body, is shaped around repressed inner explosions and dual identities. Growing under the guise of a reckoning with the system, this dark order rapidly hurtles toward an uncontrollable end.
