In the seedy streets of Hamburg, a young woman crushed under the weight of traditional pressures and a forty-year-old man lost in a quagmire of alcohol and drugs. The sham marriage they arranged to break down family barriers turns into a dangerous spark that ignites in the middle of a dark street.
