Summary
On the steel- and blood-stained streets of Detroit, a massive megacorporation called Omni Consumer Products is taking control of the streets. In this dystopian tableau—a symbol of violence and a corrupt system—Paul Verhoeven brings to the screen the story of a police officer murdered in the middle of the street who is transformed into a metallic robot.
All that remains of his bullet-riddled past are faint memories in his mind. As human will awakens behind the metal armor in this dark sci-fi universe, the lawlessness and corrupt order of the streets serve as a painful reminder of who the true enemy is.
