The Incredible Melting Man

An astronaut returning to Earth after being exposed to cosmic rays behind Saturn’s rings begins to slowly dissolve. This science-fiction horror experiment by William Sachs centers on the process of melting and bodily deformation, which unfolds as the action shifts from a hospital room to a wooded area. The process of following a melting body as it vanishes into nature transforms into a dark tale of metamorphosis.
