Summary
Set amid white neon lights and mechanical hums, this short film offers a glimpse into the unsettling future George Lucas envisioned during his film school years. In the labyrinthine corridors of an underground city, a man runs under the watchful eye of cold cameras and computers. As this character struggles to break free from society’s iron cage, his steps push the boundaries of a digital totalitarianism that has him trapped. With its visual design and unsettling sound design, this film—one of the early examples of the dystopian genre—brings a claustrophobic escape story to the big screen.
