Face Like a Frog

A frog tearing up the asphalt in his alligator-shaped car heeds the call of an alluring fellow frog standing in the middle of the road. Invited into her haunted house, our hero suddenly finds himself at the threshold of another reality. This short animation by Sally Cruikshank brings to the surface the unease lurking beneath its pastel tones. Blending elements of fantasy and horror with a psychedelic aesthetic, the film draws the viewer into a claustrophobic yet equally hypnotic corridor. An ordinary call for help morphs into a neon-colored nightmare.
