The smell of chalk wafting from the blackboard grows heavier with the breath of oddly shaped creatures. In this short animated film, Ivan Maximov transforms an ordinary class into an absurd and grotesque nightmare. The mechanical gears of the education system shape minds while rendering them unrecognizable. Each of the fantastical figures sitting in their desks appears as a grim-faced product of a poorly designed learning process.
