An ordinary morning that begins with coffee is split in two by that suffocating gray sound enveloping the city. Amid the hum of crowded streets, there are two strangers waiting for their paths to cross in the collective loneliness of a vast metropolis. One starts the day with a tray full of potato peels, while the other is munching on the last cookie she picked up from the bakery counter. In this short animated piece, Wendy Tilby and Amanda Forbis meticulously weave the ordinary lives of people into the fabric of the city. The invisible bond hidden behind a single falling lemon suddenly renders their steps to the grocery store or their waiting in the alleyways meaningless.
