Redsploitation - List of Films Exploiting Native Americans

Redsploitation films are movies centered on the suffering endured by Native Americans and their quest for revenge. Like other exploitation genres centered on revenge, these films generally consist of three main parts. First, the Native American(s) are oppressed by white people. In the second part, the Native Americans undergo a process of transformation. In the final part, they return to take revenge on the white man who inflicted this oppression upon them. In some films, the revenge scenes can be depicted in a very graphic manner. Similar to Blaxploitation films, these films have also served to categorize a very broad audience along ethnic lines and to reinforce stereotypes.
